I recently rewatched The Exorcist for the umpteenth time and no matter how many times you watch it, it never gets old. To make a film which was terrifying 50 years ago that remains terrifying is an incredible achievement.

Even if this was Friedkin’s only film he would be forever remembered. An incredible career and a true loss for film lovers.
