I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Margaret Hamilton's Wicker Witch is probably the most iconic villain of all time. Others, like Hannibal Lector, may be more "scary" but she is terrifying! It goes beyond this movie and all through pop culture, and works even now (hopefully your nephew isn't too scarred)

Thanks for sharing your story of seeing the film switch to colour for the first time, I've always seen it in colour but wish I could see it with fresh eyes like that :)
