And I agree, the film flows fairly well up until the very end. While I understand that they wanted to tone down the ending, it feels sloppy. Even cutting away to additional shots of lightning and rain to balance out the shift to the barker would have made it smoother. It’s a pity the missing scenes are lost. As it is it’s still a great film.
